SCHOOL TOURS

Our Orchard provides a great educational opportunity for local students.  The orchard sits on 80 acres with over 3000 apple trees along with pear trees, grape vines, and a beautiful pond.

The school tours provide an enjoyable educational experience, especially for students pre-K through 3rd grade.  This tour allows students an opportunity to learn while also having a good time.  

Tours will include:

• An educational hay ride through the orchard where we talk about how trees grow, pollination, how apples grow during the season, why our landscape is great for growing apples, and other educational topics. 
• Apple picking with an orchard employee where they learn how to properly select a ripened apple, proper picking techniques, and will get to pick their own.
• Tour of the washing and sorting operation, cider press, market, and cooler where we store our apples.  
• Tour includes a glass of cider and a donut to go with lunch.  
• Lunches may be pre-ordered from the bakery.  

Cost – $10.00 per student.  Parent chaperones are also welcome and will be charged the same as childern.  Teachers and school staff are free.
